Confirmed crew sailing training course

Description

Embark on a journey to enhance your practical sailing knowledge and abilities through our specialized training program. Led by experienced skippers, our aim is to equip you with the skills to navigate a boat safely during daylight hours and in moderate weather conditions. The picturesque surroundings of Brittany provide an ideal setting for this transformative experience.

Requirements

Participants are encouraged to have completed a beginner's sailing course. However, individuals with one to two weeks of active crew experience and a basic understanding of sailing principles will also be considered for enrollment.

Training Program Highlights

Certification for Training

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a formal training certificate, a detailed written assessment of their sailing abilities, and recommendations for further instruction from the instructor.

Yacht Specifics

Our chosen vessel, a 30- to 38-foot sailboat equipped with a spinnaker, will serve as our mode of transportation. The instructor will be among the four to six team members.

Logistics

Upon enrollment, participants will receive comprehensive instructions. Transport to the marina will be arranged for Saturday afternoon arrival, with departure scheduled for Friday evening.

Vital Information

• This course takes place in France; please ensure ample time for necessary visa arrangements.
• Alcohol in moderation is permitted only while properly anchored after completing navigation.
• Participants will receive a "sailor guide" to ensure they make the most out of their first sailing experience.
